2010 Hasbro Spiderman - Super Poseable Spiderman

Okay, sooner or later it had to happen. You buy enough of these things and you're gonna end up with a stinker and today Toys & Stuff presents the far less than stellar 2010 Hasbro Super Poseable Spiderman. I've watched several of the reviews on YouTube for this thing and for some reason they all think it's a good deal, maybe not the greatest action figure out there but okay. I disagree. BUT, it's not a total loss, it does have 1 1/2 things going for it. The uniform looks nice and it stands - barely. What's wrong with it?

-First: There's very little articulation, unlike so many of the other super heroes of Hasbro's line. This would have helped somewhat to compensate for its second shortcoming;

-Its stance: I've posted before where many of these figures cannot stand up straight legged, but Spidey here has such a horrible splayed-leg pose it's pathetic. You see that wide-legged pose he strikes? That's as straight legged as he gets! Terrible.

-Third: The figure comes with a useless, waste-of time and money, fake 'web' which is basically a throw-away. The piece is heavy and getting the figure to hold it while standing up is pretty near impossible and there is no way to attach the web to the figure. At either end of the web are holes and handles which make it appear as if it mates or perhaps attaches to other accessories, however unlike other toy lines I've seen, the packaging does not indicate what other sets it may have been meant to compliment.

-Fourth: His neck and head structure. Do you remember the aliens in the movie "Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull"? 'Nuff said!

Okay, at least he photographs well. Enjoy!
