Time for another Nifty '50s plastic airplane, one of a gazillion toys we young'uns would have gotten back in the day, the F-89 Scorpion from Marx in a nice bright red hard plastic.The Northrop F89 was the first jet designed right from the beginning as an all-weather interceptor. It was one of the first jets to carry guided missiles, and the first designed to carry air-to-air nuclear weapons! First flown in 1948 the last of 682 rolled out in 1956. Enjoy!
