Picking up on the thread of childhood memories, we bring you this stiff plastic troop transport from Auburn. Around the late '50s or early '60s Auburn changed their formulation to a stiff plastic. These 'unbreakable' toys were still quite vulnerable to battle damage as you can see by the pics ('torn' canvass top) but they still held up to rough play. The truck measures 5 1/2" (13.97cm) L x 1 7/8" (4.76cm) W x 2 1/2" 6.35cm) H. Enjoy! Opa Fritz and Oma Bettina
