Here's the companion piece to the Ideal Jeep we posted, the Ideal cannon (or howitzer, I haven't figured out which yet) in soft plastic. It's a chunky little sucker but has plenty of play action. There's a spring loaded plunger which, when pulled back and released, will launch a shell. Those indentations you see on either side of the legs are meant to hold the tiny shells which are normally lost, as in my sample here and the barrel can also be raised or lowered. The cannon measures 3 3/4" (9.52cm) L x 1 5/8" (4.12cm) W x 1 3/4" (4.44cm) H. Enjoy! Opa Fritz and Oma Bettina
