This weekend is the Aviation Nation air show at nellis AFB and Bettina managed to grab a couple of interesting shots standing right in our backyard! Enjoy! Opa Fritz and Oma Bettina
The Thunderbirds (the Air Force Aerial Demonstration Team) is stationed right here at Nellis and practices all the time but lordy their fast and getting good pics is always a challenge. Well Bettina got a pretty good shot of this one right over our house!
She didn't even know she had this until I downloaded the pics from the camera. A B-25 Mitchell bomber. a P-51 Mustang, and...? a P-47 Thunderbolt - not sure of that one in the middle
Not air show related but taken a few moments after the above photo. Here's a terrific (and lucky) shot of a Virgin Airlines plane crossing paths with the Moon. Way to go Bettina!
